Graeme Swann To Captain England

England Set 340 To Win First Test

Graeme Swann will captain England for the first time in this month's Twenty20 series against West Indies.

The spinner has been put in charge of a 14-man squad for the two matches at the Oval on September 23 and 25.

Regular skipper Stuart Broad and his deputy Eoin Morgan are both injured.

Ten of the squad were involved in England's most recent T20 against India in August, which they won by six wickets.

Among the new faces, two players are yet to make international debuts: Yorkshire wicketkeeper-batsman Jonathan Bairstow and Hampshire left-arm spinner Danny Briggs.

James Anderson and Durham's Scott Borthwick are also included.

Kevin Pietersen has been left out again as he continues a rest period from the team.
