Is Magician's 'Walk On Water' Genuine?

An illusionist has stunned onlookers by appearing to walk on water across the River Thames.

Dynamo, whose real name is Steve Frayne, apparently took a stroll across the water towards the Houses of Parliament on Saturday night.

The stunt was filmed as part of a new television show.

Dynamo, 28, made it halfway across the stretch of the river before being picked up by a Port of London Authority vessel.

Despite claims that the boat crew were in on the act, the illusionist's spokesman insists that the stunt was completely genuine.

Dynamo will feature a series of celebrity guests on his show, including former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown, singer Natalie Imbruglia and world heavyweight champion David Haye.

The tricks he will perform include transporting a mobile phone into a glass beer bottle and bringing paper butterflies to life.

Dynamo started in magic through his grandfather and developed his skills during trips to New Orleans.

He wanted to make himself stand out from other magicians, and combined elements of dance and hip-hop culture into his routines.

As word spread about his tricks, he found himself performing on the celebrity circuit - with a legion of Hollywood A-list fans including Will Smith, Jay Z, and Gwyneth Paltrow.
