Party-loving dwarf documentary to hit TV

The cast of Seven Dwarves

(BANG) -

A new series about party-loving dwarves is set to become a huge hit.

Channel 4's latest programme 'Seven Dwarves' - which follows the lives of seven dwarves as they lived together in a 'Big Brother'-style house while they prepared for a 'Snow White' pantomime last Christmas - has been tipped to become as huge as 'My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding', with cameras documenting them getting frisky, going on drinking binges and having rows.

The group are made up of Max Laird, Jamie John, Karen Anderson, Craig Garner, Ryan Webb, Josh Bennett and Laura Whitfield and they are all keen to show what goes on in their everyday lives.

Mum-of-two Karen said: "We're all little - but normal. I want people to see that and the laughs we have."

Gay Jamie - billed as Britain's only drag queen dwarf - revealed: "I'm a diva and proud of it."

One scene - a 21st birthday party held at their house - sees former 'Pop Idol' star Gareth Gates and ex-'Brookside' actress Claire Sweeney turn up to join in the fun.

Executive producer Nick Curwin added: "The programme will break panto stereotypes and show how this group of dwarf actors face the challenges of ordinary life head-on."

The group were filmed for seven weeks by 16 cameras throughout all areas of the house.
