Penguins Dressed Up For African Leaders' Visit

Penguins have been decked out in traditional African dress to welcome the visit of around 50 leaders from the continent to Japan.

Five of the African or black-footed penguins waddled, hopped and were carried around Yokohama's Hakkeijima Sea Paradise amusement park wearing the costumes.

Caretaker at the attraction Yuichi Yoshimoto said he hoped the leaders, who are in the country for the Tokyo International Conference on African Development, would get a chance to see the animals.
