Anger as thousands of shark fins are left drying on Hong Kong rooftop

Images of thousands of shark fins drying on the rooftop of a building in Hong Kong has left environmentalists fuming. Although campaigns against the practice have gained support in Hong Kong, demand for the rare delicacy has grown in China. The environmentalist group WWF says 73 million sharks are killed every year. Hong Kong, known as the shark fin capital in the world, imports 10,000 tonnes annually.
