This is the terrifying moment a bus driver used his vehicle "as a weapon" to knock down a cyclist.
Gavin Hill, 29, can be seen swerving into Phillip Mead who was flung across the road. He suffered a broken leg.
The court was told the incident happened on the morning of 5 April 2011 after Hill drove too close to Mr Mead at a nearby roundabout.
The bus then stopped and Mr Mead propped his bicycle against the front of the vehicle, Press Association reported.
CCTV footage played in court showed Mr Mead cycle off and then Hill swerving the bus into him.
Judge Mark Horton said his action was not an accident.
The court was also told Hill was sacked on the day the incident happened.
