Cameron Denies Any Suggestion Of Hypocrisy

David Cameron has been forced to defend his party's past support for an SNP minority government at Holyrood. In 2007, an unofficial alliance meant the SNP consistently relied on a 17-strong Conservative group to vote through every budget. Mr Cameron admitted he spoke at the time to then Scottish Tory leader Annabel Goldie about the arrangement - but denied any suggestion of hypocrisy.
