The 1% Club's famous contestant 'rumbled' by fans ahead of ITV series finale

The 1% Club viewers have 'rumbled' the famous face who will be appearing on the hit quiz show as it ends its current series this weekend and it's someone who has appeared on another competition show in the last 12 months.

There was some confusion and upset earlier this month when the episode set to air on Saturday, May 11 was pulled from schedules by ITV, along with Britain's Got Talent, as the broadcaster 'chickened out' of a ratings battle with the BBC, who were airing the Eurovision Song Contest final at the same time.

Many fans argued that there was no way that The 1% Club, particularly just how much of a ratings success it has been, should have been impacted by Eurovision, as they condemned ITV's decision to cancel it, rather than just move it back a day like they did with that weekend's edition of BGT.

The 1% Club did air in its usual time slot on May 18, but there's some bad news for fans as it's now been confirmed that the episode this incoming Saturday, May 25, will be the last in the current series. A post on the programme's X account broke the news on Monday, with the announcement also telling viewers to keep an eye out for a familiar face.

Giving a further hint on who it could be, the post added: "Anyone recognise one of the contestants playing here before she made her other TV appearance? We absolutely loved having her on the show - she was great fun!"

It didn't take long for Big Brother fans to clock exactly who the statement referred to, with them quickly realising the person in question was none other than Yinrun Huang, who was a contestant on the ITV reboot of the hit show last year, Favourite to win from day one, there was a real shock in the final when she only ended up finishing fourth.
