A 67-year-old man is dead after a motorcycle crash on Route 500 outside of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, the RCMP said in a press release Monday.

Police responded to the crash around 3 p.m. on Friday. The man, who was the driver, died at the scene, the RCMP said.

A passenger was taken to the Labrador Health Centre with serious injuries.
