Feb. 6 (UPI) -- A Virginia man said a scratch-off lottery ticket sat forgotten on the passenger seat of his delivery truck before he discovered it was worth $100,000.
Delivery driver Zachary Clements of Buena Vista told Virginia Lottery officials he bought his Ca$h Corners Crossword scratch-off ticket from Sheltman's Gas N Grocery on 29th Street in Buena Vista and tossed it on the seat of his truck, where it was promptly forgotten.
Clements said he rediscovered the ticket some time later and scratched off a $100,000 prize.
"I was pretty excited," the player recalled.
Clements said he plans to invest his winnings into his delivery business.
