The 100 aired another huge shock in latest season 6 episode
Warning: Contains spoilers for the sixth season of The 100.
Post-apocalyptic show The 100 has thrown in a huge twist once again with the loss of another major character, following the death of Marcus Kane (Henry Ian Cusick).
Last night's episode (July 30) saw the death of Abby Griffin (Paige Turco), which left her as a host for Russell's recently murdered wife, Simone.
This all kicks off when Abby sees that Russell (JR Bourne) would happily murder Madi (Lola Flanery) in order to steal her bone marrow to create more hosts. To prevent this from happening, she uses one of the Nightblood doses on herself so they can extract her bone marrow instead to create more serum.

Before she passes, however, she shares a touching reunion with Clarke (Eliza Taylor) to say farewell. She also sorts her issues with Raven (Lindsey Morgan), telling her: "You are my family."
Producer of the show, Jason Rothenburg, took to Twitter to send a message on behalf of Turco after Abby's death.
"She's so grateful for all of your love and support of her & Abby," he wrote. "She'll miss playing her more than can be expressed."
He added: "Not as much as I'll miss watching her do it."

The writers also paid tribute to the actress and her character, posting to the official Twitter account of The 100's writers room: "Everything about shooting this scene was heartbreaking. The brilliance of our actors cannot be understated.
"RIP Abby. She will be missed."
