Yahoo News 105-year-old woman among 24 Leicester Mercury death notices this week
A series of moving tributes have been paid in this week’s Leicester Mercury death notices, including to Eva Louise Allen - a woman who died at the grand old age of 105.
Keith Inchley, a former RAF winchman, was honoured by his partner who called him "one in a million" and said "he just loved people". And the family of well-known entrepreneur Sohan Singh Bansal, who arrived in Leicestershire from India in 1960, announced the passing of their beloved husband, father and grandfather.
In all, there are 24 notices this week. Those listed are in alphabetical order.

Died peacefully aged 105 at MHA Aigburth Care Home on Thursday 23rd May 2024. She was the much loved wife of Norman, mother to Pete and loving gran to Paul & Sarah and great-gran to Molly, Etta, Wil & Henry. The Bansal family are sad to announce the passing of Sohan Singh Bansal. Beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was well known to many in Nuneaton and Coventry. After arriving from India in the 1960's he joined Rolls Royce in Coventry and then went onto set up Bansal Taxis , Bansal Trading Co and Bansal Shoes.
