27/03/1932 - 11/04/2024 son of Julia, born in Kanturk, Co Cork, latterly living Wilford, Nottingham, died peacefully in Queens Medical Centre on 11th April, aged 92 years. Passed away peacefully on Monday 6th May 2024, aged 92, at home in Ruddington. Loving wife to David, mother to Carol and Robin, mother in law to Janet and grandma to Imogen and Bethany. Joan was born in Bobbers Mill, Nottingham, only child to Agnes and George Henry Holmes. After attending the Manning School, Joan worked at the Nottingham City Estates Department between 1948 and 1962, and at Price and Finch Ltd from 1972 to 1990.
