19-Year-Old German Volunteer Found Dead in Argentine Ravine

After a four-day search, crews in San Juan, Argentina, discovered on Monday, May 27, the body of Julia Horn, a 19-year-old German volunteer, Tiempo de San Juan reported.

Horn went missing on Thursday, May 23, after she went hiking by herself in Loma de las Tapias National Park, Youth for Understanding (YFU) Argentina, the organization where she was volunteering, said.

According to a local news report, Horn died after she fell about 30 meters (100 feet) into a ravine and broke her neck.
