Yahoo News 2024 Oscar Parties in Photos: Usher, Olivia Munn, John Mulaney
The 96th Academy Awards are about to get under way, and there was plenty of Oscar partying and celebrating going on before, during and after Hollywood’s biggest night.
Things got off to a starry start a week before the Jimmy Kimmel-hosted ceremony when Jamie Foxx made an appearance to pick up with the Producers Award for his Foxxhole Productions at the AAFCA Special Achievement Awards Luncheon at the Los Angeles Athletic Club on March 3. Later that night, Taraji P. Henson accepted the Excellence in the Arts award at the American Black Film Festival Honors gala at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, while George Lucas and John Waters were across town earlier in the day at UCLA’s Royce Hall for the 74th American Cinema Editors Eddie Awards.
