22 Kids and Counting's Sue Radford fumes at husband Noel after 'motorhome incident' near Edinburgh

Sue Radford was let fuming at husband Noel after he had a bit of a mishap with their beloved motorhome near Edinburgh.

The couple, famed for their super-sized family on the Channel 5 show '22 Kids and Counting', are now faced with a hefty repair bill following Noel's blunder. Noel, 53, clipped a water tap while trying to park their vehicle, affectionately named Betsy.

In a candid YouTube video shared on their channel today, Noel tried to justify his mistake while Sue expressed her frustration, saying she was "really annoyed". This isn't the first driving gaffe for the bakery owner; he previously had an encounter with a "big, bright red and white stripy bollard" in their minibus last year, prompting Sue to question his driving prowess.

In the footage, Noel recounted the incident: "When we arrived yesterday, I'm already getting the daggers look looked at me, so I reversed into this plot and then thought 'I'm not very straight, I need to straighten up a bit'."

He continued: "So I drove out and as I was driving out I could see the tap that you hook your water up to and I thought 'oh, looks like I've just gone past it'. Anyway, I hadn't gone past it and I caught the tap on the back end of the camper and scratched it all.", reports Edinburgh Live.

Noel added: "I thought 'oh my God'. So then normally what happens is I'll get out and hook the electric up, sort the water out and Sue will get all the electric chairs out."

Wrapping up his tale, he said, "I said 'It's alright, I'll do it, you go away I'll do this'. And then there's a bit of a scratch down the side."

Sue couldn't hide her irritation as she interjected: "A bit? I'm fuming. Not being funny right but when people say that women drivers are really bad, I just don't believe it. What else did you do to the motorhome? ".

Noel's response was dismissive: "Go away. Nothing."

But Sue wasn't having any of it, pressing on: "Yeah you did. You need to show them that."

Noel then explained the mishap: "No, that's when we were driving back from here. I moved over as far as I could to them left and this transit van was going the opposite way and didn't really move over so we smashed the wing mirrors and it's broken the indicator a bit on it so I need to get that fixed as well."

Sue, with a hint of sarcasm, quipped: "That was the taps fault wasn't it, that you did that yesterday? " Noel tried to deflect: "Yeah well if that tap moved" before Sue pointed out: "You need to know the size of the pitch Noel."

He attempted to justify himself: "If that tap moved, like it should have done for me, it wouldn't have happened."

The video then revealed the extent of the damage to the motorhome, with Noel assessing: "That's quite deep. This bit here. I'm sure it will rub out and spray up. So it's not that bad."

Sue clearly disagreed, stating firmly: "Noel, it's bad" Noel retorted: "Oh, pipe down you."

Yet Sue persisted: "That's really annoyed me. People will understand what I'm getting at when they see the size of the pitch."

Noel showcased the pitch size to his followers, commenting: "All I was trying to do was give you as much space this side for activities."

Sue wasn't convinced and expressed her confusion: "Honestly, I don't get how you've done that. I genuinely don't."

Noel retorted with a light-hearted jab: "This is coming from somebody that never drives the motorhome."

Sue hit back: "No, but at least I don't do stuff like that."

Noel responded: "You won't do because you don't drive it."

Adding to Noel's embarrassment, Sue brought up another incident: "Let's tell them about what you did to the minibus as well because last year you went into a pole that was on the side of the road."

A chagrined Noel explained: "No, it was a big, bright red and white stripy bollard. Well how am I supposed to see them? " Sue's response was incredulous: "Oh my god."

The video sparked reactions from fans, with one commenting: "Absolutely hilarious, Noel you definitely got told off there. Noel 'it's only a scratch'. If it had been Sue who scratched it Noel would have been saying 'omg we need a whole new back end'."

Another sympathised: "Noel is really in the dog house. It's not a small scratch. Hopefully it wont take too much to sort out."

One more chimed in: "That will cost you to get fixed and no Noel it's NOT just a little scratch - Sue's totally right and I would be foaming as well! ! ! Having said that we all make mistakes and learn from them - you won't ever do it again."
