The 263 Championship club free agents Cardiff City and Swansea City could now sign for nothing

Every Championship team has now confirmed their retained lists.

A number of players have also said their goodbyes to their employers and fans after their contracts at their respective clubs expired.

Earlier on this week we compiled a list of the 167 Premier League free agents Cardiff City and Swansea City could sign for nothing this summer.

Now it’s the turn of the second tier, with the profile of player perhaps more suited to the Welsh clubs’ financial means.

Below is a club-by-club guide to who has been released - (o) denotes that an offer has been made to them by their club.

A total of 263 players have been included on the list on the EFL website.
