4 arrested for stealing pizzas, wings at gunpoint in East Texas

LUFKIN, Texas (KETK) — Four men were charged with aggravated robbery after a Domino’s pizza employee reported being robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday.

According to a release, a Domino’s pizza employee reported being robbed at gunpoint by two men when attempting to deliver an order of two pizzas and wings. The suspects also reportedly stole the employee’s wallet and ran away.

An investigation led officers to an apartment complex in the 900 block of South Second Street, where the suspected were barricaded. Officers surrounded the apartment, loud hailed and the two suspects came out without incident. Two other suspects reportedly refused to exit the apartment but officers entered the apartment and took them into custody.

The suspects were identified as Michael Harris, 17, Floyd Hennington, 19, Deanthony Minor, 19, and Amare White, 20, all of Lufkin.

During a search of the apartment, officers found “Domino’s pizza boxes, a pistol hidden in a laundry hamper, and uneaten pizza slices in a bathroom toilet as if the suspects were trying to flush the evidence.”

Harris and Hennington are being held on a $150,000 bond while Minor and White have bonds of $100,000 at the Angelina County Jail.
