5 arrested after four-wheeler chase, search in Polk County

POLK COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said five people have been arrested after a four-wheeler chase led to a property in the Indian Springs subdivision on Wednesday.

Polk County narcotics deputies were reportedly conducting traffic enforcement when they saw a man on a four-wheeler and tried to make a traffic stop. According to the sheriff’s office, the man fled and the four-wheeler was later found at a residence nearby.

The deputies reportedly found out that the occupants of the residence were Cody Lamar White and Kaylee Collier of Indian Springs.

White had a warrant for felony possession of methamphetamine and the sheriff’s office said they were able to locate White and Collier in a travel trailer in the area.

A search warrant was obtained and the sheriff’s office said they made the following arrests:

Jonathan Tyler Zuellig, 27 of Livingston, was arrested for display of expired plates, no driver’s license, no insurance and having an unsecured less than 1-year-old child with out a car seat, according to the sheriff’s office.

Kaylee Lavon Collier, 23 of Livingston, was arrested for hindering apprehension of a known felon and possession of a controlled substance. She’s being held at the Polk County Jail on a total $25,000 bond, jail records show.

Cody Lamar White, 28 of Livingston, was arrested for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of body armor by a felon, possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding warrant for possession of methamphetamine, according to the sheriff’s office.

Corrigan-Camden ISD teacher arrested for solicitation of minor

Brian Keith Lafferty, 55 of Livingston, was arrested for outstanding warrants, a Polk County Sheriff’s Office press release showed.

Eric Jasper Scroggins, 41 of Livingston, was arrested for outstanding warrants, according to the sheriff’s office.
