From an animation workshop to a two-day food a drink festival, here are five more free events and things to do during the summer holidays in Suffolk.

1. Stop frame animation workshop

When: Monday, July 29 from 9.45am until 3.30pm

Where: Sudbury Library, Market Hill, Sudbury, CO10 2EN

Lulu Horsefield is hosting a workshop teaching 10 to 16-year-olds how to use different 2D animation techniques to create their own stories.

The workshop is part of The Blank Page Project and a free lunch, drinks and snacks are provided so spaces must be booked in advance.

2. Bury St Edmunds Food & Drink Festival

When: Sunday, August 25 and Monday, August 26 from 10am until 5pm

Where: Bury St Edmunds town centre

The free two-day event brings the Cornhill and Butter Market to life with a variety of food and drink stalls to try.

Stoves Cookery Theatre will be putting on live demonstrations from chefs, eateries and wine and cocktail specialists.

3. Draw along with story

When: Tuesday, August 20 from 2pm until 3pm

Where: Southwold Books, High Street, Southwold, IP18 6DS

Children can hear the story Detective Catz and the Missing Nut and draw along inspired by the bright and bold characters in the tale.

Materials to draw along will be provided and it is suitable for children aged between two and six years old.

4. Hadleigh Classic Motorcycle Festival

When: Sunday, July 21 from 11am until 4pm

Where: Whatfield Village Hall, Rectory Lane, Whatfield, Ipswich, IP7 6QU

The classic motorcycle event celebrates the 40th anniversary of Hadleigh & District Motorcycle Club which was established in 1984.

Entry is free but the group is raising money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

5. Sax Music Fest

Bands and singers from different music genres will be performing (Image: Newsquest)

When: Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10 from 12pm until 11pm

Where: Memorial Field, Saxmundham, IP17 1EJ

Across two days the festival will play many different genres of music from folk to rock.

Headline acts include and Oasis tribute band and Take That - Rule The World.
