50 Cent sued for allegedly throwing microphone in woman's face

50 Cent is being sued for allegedly causing "severe injuries" to a woman after he threw a microphone into the crowd.

According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, concertgoer Bryhana Monegain claims she was hit in the face and wrist by the equipment.

A video had previously surfaced of the incident in August, showing the rapper tossing the mic in the crowd after becoming frustrated with the sound system. At the time, he was investigated for battery but the DA's office did not pursue the matter.

Now Bryhana has filed a lawsuit against the Get Rich or Die Tryin' singer.

"Immediately after the incident, she was transported by ambulance to the Los Angeles General Medical Centre emergency department for treatment of injuries, including but not limited to, a concussion, laceration over her forehead, and pain in her left wrist," reads the statement. "She complained of dizziness, headaches, light and sound sensitivity, and nausea."

It goes on to state that she "continues to suffer from severe injuries and emotional distress".

50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, has not yet responded to the lawsuit, however, his lawyer previously denied that the rapper hit Monegain on purpose.

"My client Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone," his attorney, Scott Leemon, told Page Six in August. "Anyone saying something different doesn't have all the facts and is misinformed."
