Abbey Clancy Left 'Traumatised' After Confronting Burglars In Her Home

It has been reported that model Abbey Clancy suffered a terrifying ordeal when she awoke in the middle of the night to find two burglars in her home.

The mum-of-three, who is married to footballer Peter Crouch, was staying in a luxury villa in France when the attempted robbery took place and she has been left “traumatised” by the incident.

According to The Sun, Abbey woke up when she heard noises downstairs and was stunned to find two men rummaging through her belongings.

Peter wasn’t home when the incident took place and Abbey investigated the noise with a female friend who was staying with her, with the burglars fleeing the property before the police arrived after the two women screamed in fear.

A source explained: “Abbey seemed quite traumatised. She can’t stop thinking about what could have happened to them if they hadn’t woken up or if the burglars had been armed.

"Peter has been commuting between Paris and Antibes but he was in Paris at the time. He was horrified someone had broken into the villa and extremely relieved Abbey and her pals were okay.

"Abbey has tried her best to put what happened behind her but it hasn’t been very easy to shake off and she has struggled.

"It was a really nasty shock for her.”

We hope that Abbey is able to put the scary incident behind her soon.
