Some people want to go to Disneyland after winning an Emmy. Quinta Brunson wants to write a Christmas movie!

The creator, writer, producer and star of Abbott Elementary shared her love for Hallmark Channel holiday movies on The Drew Barrymore Show on May 22 when asked about future goals.

"My career dream? I really want to ghostwrite a Hallmark movie," she said. "You know the Christmas movies?"

"Of course I do," host Drew Barrymore responded.

Brunson, 34, continued: "My TV doesn't leave that channel during Christmastime. Neither me or my husband celebrate Christmas but I love them so much and I really want to ghostwrite one. I think I'd be good at it."

"I hope they let me, but it's going to be under a fake pen name. It won't be me so you guys don't know," she added. "Because I don't want you be biased, I want you to just enjoy the movie — or not enjoy it — the same way you do the other ones."

Brunson, who won an Emmy for writing on a comedy series for Abbott Elementary in 2022 and another in 2023 for lead actress in a comedy series, hasn't exactly been hiding her Hallmark fandom over the years.

In the May 15 episode of her ABC comedy, Jacob (Chris Perfetti) was encouraging Gregory (Tyler James Williams) to share his feelings for Janine (Brunson).

"It's like a Hallmark movie," Jacob said. "Janine is the city girl and you're the rough and tumble guy who tends a garden. And I am the guy watching that movie."
