Activists Hold Eulogy for Biden's Campaign, Confront Him With Chants of 'Drop Out, Joe'

A New York-based activist group held a mock eulogy for Joe Biden and greeted him with chants of “Drop out, Joe” outside a fundraiser he was hosting in Manhattan on February 13.

The group, called New York Communities for Change, say they campaign against “fascist policies” affecting vulnerable groups in society. They brought a makeshift coffin to the event and held a eulogy for Biden’s campaign in the lobby of the Wayfarer restaurant on West 57th Street.

As Biden left the event, the group chanted “Drop out, Joe” and encouraged him to skip the Nevada and South Carolina primaries and “go home early”.

The fundraising event was being attended by some of the biggest names in financial services, including current and former executives of firms such as Morgan Stanley, Blackstone, and Goldman Sachs, according to CNBC.
