Yahoo News Adam Brody joins Kristen Bell for new Netflix series
Fleabag fans who are still wrapping their heads around the connection between Phoebe Waller-Bridge's protagonist and Andrew Scott's 'Hot Priest' may find some closure in an upcoming Netflix show.
Adam Brody, recently seen in Fleishman Is in Trouble and Shazam! Fury of the Gods, has been cast in an untitled comedy created by Erin Foster and loosely based on her own experiences.
The OC star features in the role of "charming rabbi" Noah, whose life is rocked by Kristen Bell's outspoken, agnostic Joanne (via Variety).
According to the official synopsis, the series will centre on the two characters' "unlikely relationship".

Brody's character is further described as someone "who is stuck in his ways and used to playing things safe".
The synopsis continues: "He starts to stumble when he meets a brutally honest and provocative Joanne, totally upending his safe life plan."
Modern Family's Steven Levitan is among the executive producers for the series.
As for Bell, this project marks The Good Place star's second collaboration with Netflix after dark spoof comedy series The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, released in 2022.

On the big screen, the actress is set to reprise the role of Anna in a previously announced third Frozen movie.
Last year, Bell jokingly apologised to parents for putting them through the first two animated films.
"I would like to say that I'm sorry to every parent who has had to listen to Frozen on a loop. I feel you, I see you, I am you. I get it," she said speaking at D23 Expo alongside co-star Josh Gad.
In her speech, she also acknowledged the role of Elsa's sister as "the highlight of [her] life", together with the daughters shared with husband Dax Shepard.
Frozen 2 is streaming on Disney+, and available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K. Tickets for the West End musical are available here.
