The Adam Idah Celtic transfer price tag Norwich City could demand as Canaries 'name' minimum fee

Adam Idah will set Celtic back at minimum £5million if they want a permanent deal this summer, according to a report.

Brendan Rodgers brought in the Republic of Ireland striker during the January transfer window on loan and he's made a big impact during his short time at Parkhead. He's found the back of the net seven times for the Hoops in their quest to beat Rangers to the Scottish Premiership title with a crucial derby strike along with big goals against Hibs and Motherwell in a title race that has been full of twists, turns and drama.

Now, the Scottish Sun report that Norwich will demand at least £5m to part with the striker. The same publication claims he is expected to be allowed to depart the Canaries for the right fee despite having four more years on his current terms at the English Championship club.

There is NO option to buy in the current loan agreement with Rodgers confirming they will make a call on a full-time bid come the end of the season with plenty still to play for in terms of the league title and Scottish Cup. Speaking previously, the Hoops boss said: “I’m excited to work with him. He thrives on the pressure here and has a hunger to improve. So we’ll assess that at the end of the season. It’s not all in our hands.”
