BFFs! Adorable rescue dogs adopted together because they just can’t stop cuddling each other

A pair of dogs came as a twosome or not at all when they were adopted, because they spend all their time cuddled up together.

Chewbacca and CC struck up an unbreakable bond when they were pups, but were nearly split up for good when their owner’s new baby developed an allergy to dogs.

They were taken to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, where they spent all their time together.

Rescue centre spokesperson Jessica Jorgenson told The Dodo: “Pretty much every time we walk by their kennel, CC is either sitting on Chewy or draped over him or curled up against him.”

“Chewy, for his part, doesn’t mind at all. They both like being close to each other.”

As well as relaxing together, the adorable pooches go for walks and remain as close as possible whenever they are driven anywhere.

As a result, anyone wanting to adopt would have to be prepared to take them both in as staff refused to see them split up.

The centre wrote on Facebook: “Their bond is undeniable, so they must be adopted together.

“What a perfect pair to share your life with!”

Thousands agreed, with the post going viral and just four days after the adoption advert was posted, Chewy and CC were adopted by Amber Wiley.

They will now spend their time with two other dogs and three pigs at their new home.
