Aerial Footage Shows Ash Over Volcanic Crater as Lava Enters Ocean in Hawaii

Photographer Andrew Hara flew over the Halemaumau Crater of the Kilauea volcano to document ash pluming into the air on May 21. The ash plume was reported to have reached about 7,000 ft above sea level.
