Aerial Footage Shows California Homes That Narrowly Escaped Wildfire

Aerial footage released by Cal Fire on Sunday, June 30, shows homes just feet away from where firefighters battled the Fresno June Lightning Complex Fire in Fresno County, California.

The footage shows homes on Palomino Drive in central Fresno County.

The Fresno June Lightning Complex Fire started on June 24 and was 61% contained on June 30, Cal Fire said.

The fire covered 10,669 acres on Sunday, Cal Fire added.

The American Red Cross Central California Region said on Saturday that evacuation orders related to the fire had been lifted, power was turned back on, and road closures were no longer in effect. Credit: Cal Fire via Storyful
