Aerial Footage Shows Damage From Tornado in Portage

Damage was seen to buildings and trees in Portage, Michigan – in the Kalamazoo metro area – on Tuesday, May 7, after an EF-2 tornado hit the city.

Footage recorded by @ABigFatGeek shows damage to several buildings.

The tornado also downed neighborhood trees, previously verified footage showed.

The City of Portage said in a news release on Wednesday that they believed two tornadoes had touched down on Tuesday.
