Aerial Video Shows Widespread Tornado Damage in Tennessee's Hamilton County

Roughly 9,000 structures were assessed for damage in Hamilton County, Tennessee, after an EF-3 tornado left a trail of destruction and killed two people on Sunday, April 12, the Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management reported.

Aerial footage released by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday shows extensive damage homes, including mobile homes and other low-income housing, and other structures.

On Thursday, four days after the tornado, Chattanooga Police warned that several roads would remain closed as debris cleanup continued.

Energy provider EPB on Thursday said they had restored power to at least 38,000 customers, with 20,000 more to go.
