Airline passengers being banned from flights due to 'how case is packed'

Airline passengers are being banned from flights after trying a viral packing hack. Tourists jetting off to the European Union from the UK are being warned to be careful about travelling hacks they are following online.

Holidaymakers are being reminded it could stop you from flying if you're not careful. One Brit flying to Orlando International Airport was turned away after turning up to the airport with all his belongings packed inside a pillowcase - following a TikTok hack which has gone viral.

After witnessing the commotion at the departure gate, which saw the man rejected from the flight by airline staff and security, a witness warned: "Stop letting these social media sites give you tips and tricks because sometimes it's not going to work, okay? This dude was trying to take in a pillowcase full of clothing and other items, which he is stating is simply just a pillowcase."

In reply, one said: "How are people experimenting at the airport?" A second said: "People play too many games." And a third warned: "My husband worked for United and we fly for free so I have to not only act right but dress right to fly. I'd be so scared of getting on the no fly list."

"One place I'm going to not act a fool is at the airport," another wrote. And another said: "I've been replacing the stuffing in my travel neck pillow for years, he just did it wrong." The pillowcase hack, which involves folding clothes into a pillowcase and carrying it separately to your luggage, has had travellers in a chokehold as it provides extra space for holiday essentials.

Another said: “I think budget airlines consider a pillow to be a personal item. I concur with wearing lots of clothes and shoving things into your jacket as the tried and true method.” Another said: “It’s these sort of hacks that make airlines much more strict.”
