Manchester City have a triple injury concern over three key players as attention turns back to the FA Cup.

Pep Guardiola’s side have a quick chance to bounce back from the disappointment of their Champions League exit this week as they aim to book their place in the FA Cup final. City take on Chelsea at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, just three days after their penalty shootout defeat at the hands of Real Madrid.

Manuel Akanji, Kevin De Bruyne, and Erling Haaland were all taken off during extra time of that game, raising concern over potential injuries ahead of the weekend. City will be looking to book their place back at Wembley next month where they will take on either Manchester United or the Championship’s Coventry City who play their semi-final on Sunday.

City did have an injury boost for the game against Real with Kyle Walker making his comeback from a hamstring injury. The captain played the full 120 minutes of the match after missing four games.

City still have both the FA Cup and the Premier League to play for between now and the end of the season. A fully fit squad would be a major boost in those aims. With that in mind, here’s the latest injury news from the Man City squad.

The defender was taken off just before the penalty shootout against Real Madrid, with Guardiola revealing after the game that he asked to be off.

What Guardiola has said: "Erling and Kevin asked me to go out. They could not continue, like Manu [Akanji]. They were playing amazing and I'm not a big fan of so many substitutions but Kevin, Erling and Manu asked me to go out because they could not continue."
