Alabama dances into the Final Four after defeating Clemson

(WDHN) — For the first time in school history, the Alabama Crimson Tide will be playing in the Final Four of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Crimson Tide faced off against the Clemson Tigers and beat them 89-82 in the Elite Eight matchup in Los Angeles, California.

The Crimson Tide and the Tigers were aiming for their first trips to the Final Four.

On Saturday, March 30, the Tide win was a team effort.

Alabama guard Mark Sears led the way with 23 points, Alabama forward Jarin Stevenson had 19, and Alabama forward Nick Pringle added 16 points in the win.

Alabama will face off against Connecticut Huskies in the Final Four to advance to the National Championship game. That game will be played on Saturday, April 6.
