Aldi is set to reintroduce a £5 skincare product that's been hailed as 'as good as' a £35 luxury brand. The budget supermarket has confirmed the return of one of its most sought-after beauty items, the Lacura 2% BHA Toner, which will be back on shelves next month.

Priced at just £4.99, the toner works to remove dead skin cells, promising a 'smooth and luminous complexion'.

Its BHA ingredient also boasts anti-inflammatory properties, helping to 'reduce the appearance of breakouts and blackheads'.

When compared to the celebrity-endorsed Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, Aldi's Lacura 2% BHA Toner offers an impressive saving of 83% (£0.25 per ml).

The dermatologically tested, cruelty-free toner will be available from Sunday, May 5.

In addition, Aldi is launching a new BHA Clearing Cleanser. Priced at £3.99, this specialist skincare essential will be available in stores nationwide from Sunday, May 5.

Described as an 'everyday essential', it's formulated with skin-replenishing and purifying ingredients such as glycerine and salicylic acid.

Targeting those with blemish-prone skin, the cleanser gently removes excess oils and impurities that can lead to breakouts, leaving skin clean, clear, and refreshed - much like the popular Paula's Choice Clear Cleanser.
