Supermarket shoppers are being urged to check kitchen cupboards, fridges and freezers after a number of food products have been pulled from sale.

When an item is recalled, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) issues an alert, as well as giving details on what you should do if you have bought the product, as well as information on why it has been pulled from sale.

A number of supermarket goods from Tesco, Waitrose and more have seen recall notices issues recently. Shoppers are being urged not to consume the items.

Aldi continues to recall its Ashfields Grill 4 Garlic & Herb Chicken Kebabs because of a labelling error which shows an incorrect use-by date, making the product unsafe to eat.

While the correct use-by date is June 9, 2024, Aldi said a small number of products have "had the incorrect use by date applied of July 9." Therefore it was advised for anyone who has bought the product not to eat it.
