Alex Jones has done it yet again, inspiring us to shop for the new season with one of her latest outfits from The One Show.
The TV host shared a snap of herself wearing a very stylish floral midi dress while presenting the show on Tuesday (20 October) on her Instagram account, and we have to say we're tempted to copy her look, pronto.
Alex called the piece "autumn in a dress", and we have to say we agree thanks to the autumnal hues orange hues of the floral print, which is reminiscent of fallen leaves.
Thank you for watching tonight if you did. Always fun to have a chat with Richard and Judy and pretty amazing for me as a super fan of the film to see Thomas Aka Sam from Love Actually in the flesh. There’s been unsurprisingly a huge reaction to Adelle’s story and @mattbakerofficial as always handled it so sensitively. Looking forward to seeing team rickshaw get started again this year. Thanks @gethincjones for making me laugh today and for the delish vegan sweets. I did notice though that you’d snuck into the photo! Autumn in a dress is from @nobodyschild. Ps I also know that my hair looks like Worzel gummidge, particularly in the second photo but that’s life. @tesswrightstylist

The dark floral dress with on-trend puffed sleeves and a flattering midi hemline with a subtle split also happens to be a bit of a bargain, and is available now in all sizes.
The £45 dress from Nobody's Child Floral V-Neck Puff Sleeve Midi Tea Dress can be ordered online from Marks & Spencer's website, as part of the brands' new collaboration, which launched earlier this month.
A floral midi dress in darker colours is one of those versatile wardrobe staples that you can wear all year-round, and particularly useful at this time of year, as you can team it with white trainers and winter boots.
You could also dress it both up and down, depending on the occasion, and the weather. It would work perfectly with a cosy winter knit during the colder months but will look equally chic on its own with sandals next spring.
We'll be snapping it up immediately.
