Ally McCoist has revealed the barrage of torment he received from Celtic-daft Alan Brazil following Rangers' defeat to Ross County.

Gers fell to a shock 3-2 loss in Dingwall to the Staggies on Sunday afternoon to hand the Hoops to momentum in the Premiership title race. It's a four point lead for Brendan Rodgers' side albeit their rivals have this evening's clash at Dundee as their game in hand.

Brazil has never been afraid to let his pal have it where trolling Gers is concerned and the former Ibrox striker told the talkSPORT audience how Brazil had been "rubbing salt in the wounds" after the game.

Speaking before the Dens Park clash this evening, Brazil asked: "Is that game going to be on? They are talking about moving it?", to which McCoist responded: "The last I heard last night is that it is going to go ahead at Dens. But it still doesn't look good, does it?"

Brazil opted to ignore his colleague's question as he jabbed: "That was some shock at the weekend, eh? I am not putting the boot in, but I didn't expect that one from Ross County."

And Coisty revealed he'd received a barrage of stick from his colleague throughout the day on Sunday. "Didn't expect that one?" he chuckled. "I thought with my phone going with all the messages on Sunday you kind of enjoyed it.

"I think Sunday picked up a wee bit for you, would that be fair? You and I have a healthy working relationship but I don't need to receive messages from you on a Sunday rubbing salt in my wounds."
