Camera Club snappers have been out and about capturing the beautiful animals of Sussex.

There are many locations across the county that offer nature lovers the chance to spot a variety of wildlife.

Contributor Robert Barrington-White snapped some gorgeous shots of swans and their young in Southwater, Horsham.

The cygnets, named Luna and Skye according to Robert, took to the water under the watchful eye of their parents, Wallace and Wendy.

Camera Club member Bob Plowman visited family-run Swains Farm Shop in Henfield this week and captured the four-legged inhabitants that reside there, including a disgruntled-looking alpaca.

The shop serves locally sourced food and is accompanied by an abundant garden centre that offers plants, tools, compost and more.

Its other farm animals include donkeys, goats and geese.

Yvonne Kinasz also visited a farm and captured some of its winged visitors.

Saddlescombe Farm is described as a “hidden gem” on the South Downs Way.

The site is steeped in history, with the oldest part of the farmhouse dating back to 1630 and its earliest owner recorded as the Earl Godwin of Bosham.

Another member, Claire Andrews, shared her gorgeous snaps of a group of deer, which she joked would make great “outdoor Christmas decorations” and “upstage the neighbours”.

One photo captured a young deer flanked by their parents, while another caught the fawn tentatively exploring the surrounding grasslands.
