Labour's Mark Tami, the only Labour MP to keep his north Wales seat in the 2019 election, has been re-elected. Mr Tami won Alyn and Deeside which had seven candidates standing after changing as part of the redrawing of the political map of Wales to shrink the number of constituencies from 40 to 32.

The new constituency now includes part of the former Delyn constituency. While Alyn and Deeside has been represented by Labour, Delyn turned Conservative in 2019.
