Amanda Holden 'trapped' in Spain as she says 'so this just happened'

Amanda Holden has been forced to scale a wall in a bid to get free after becoming trapped in Spain. The ITV Britain's Got Talent star and judge spoke out on Instagram after a busy period filming the ITV show, as well as her travel series in Spain with Alan Carr.

Amanda, a mum-of-two, was left with no choice but to climb over a wall in Spain in order to get to work, as she and her colleagues were locked in the property they were staying in. She revealed on her Instagram account, via her Grid, on Tuesday: "So this happened... just trying to get to work."

In a video clip, the star can be seen in the dim morning light, bundled up in a cosy cream coat and comfortable black trousers. "Morning," she greeted. "So I am trying to do Heart from Spain... and we are locked in the property!"

"We have just found some ladders in there and we are going to have to... look... ladders, to get over the top of this," she said. She then approached an unseen person, joking about her "fluent Spanish" as she informed them: "Hello? Hello, we are here.

"We can't get out of the gate, but we are here... sorry." After scaling the wall, she laughed: "I made it! " upon reaching the other side. Amanda, 52, who is married to husband Chris Hughes, is one of four BGT judges used by the show, which airs each Saturday.

The show airs each Saturday night starring Amanda, Alesha Dixon, show creator Simon Cowell and also fellow judge Bruno Tonioli. "This has made me laugh so much," a fan replied. "So funny. Pure dedication to Heart and you hung on to your coffee.

"Go, Mandy. Brilliant xx," said a second. A third wrote back saying: "Omg you make me wee with laughter!" And another typed: "The great escape!"
