Amanda Holden's daughter Lexi Hughes is a 'double' for famous mum as she turns 19

Amanda Holden’s fans could not believe their eyes when she posted pictures from lookalike daughter Lexi Hughes’ 19th birthday celebrations.

The teenager looked every bit as glam as her famous mum in the snaps capturing her big day which was marked by friends and family at a restaurant.

In one picture, the aspiring model can be seen posing next to an impressive-looking pink cake that features a Barbie doll looking a bit worse for wear after a night out as she’s surrounded by fondant-made bottles and spewing up vomit made from rainbow sprinkles.

Britain’s Got Talent judge Holden, 53, gave a closer look at “drunk Barbie” in a clip shared to her Insta Stories in which everyone can be heard singing Happy Birthday to Lexi.

Holden - who also shares another daughter Hollie, 12, with her music producer husband Chris - proudly captioned her post: “Our gorgeous girl turns 19 today!! @lexi.hughes__ Lexi we love you so much. Super proud of you and all the choices you are making. Our shy, wise ,funny talented girl. Love Mummy Daddy and Hollie xx Have the happiest day.”

Her friends and fans were quick to share their well-wishes and remark on the astonishing similarities between mother and daughter in the comments section.

“Happy Birthday! Amanda, she’s your double!” exclaimed one person.

“Omg where's that time gone. She is gorgeous like her mum” agreed another.

“Wow, they could be twins” put in a third.

It’s set to be an emotional week for Holden as today her Heart Breakfast co-host Jamie Theakson returned after taking time out to battle cancer.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as Theakston resumed his place in the studio.

Then on January 23, her youngest daughter Hollie will officially become a teenager when she turns 13 on January 23.
