Amanda Seyfried has announced the surprise arrival of her second child - a baby boy.
The 34-year-old Mamma Mia! star - who already has a three-year-old daughter Nina with her actor husband Thomas Sadoski - shared a picture of her new son on Instagram after keeping her pregnancy under wraps.
Seyfried said: “@thomas_sadoski and I made a little man.”
She added in a statement: “Since the birth of our daughter 3 years ago our commitment to the innocent children that are so brutally affected by conflict and war has been a driving force in our lives. With the birth of our son the work of INARA and War Child has become our North Star.”

On her Instagram Stories she also shared a picture of Nina holding her brother’s hand, captioned, “Sister/brother.”
The Les Miserables star and her husband chose to make the birth of her son public as they announced their partnership with children’s rights charity War Child and INARA, the International Network for Aid Relief and Assitance.
The organisation said: “We at War Child and INARA are so happy to be the first to announce that our board members Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski welcomed their second child into this world.”
Seyfried began dating Sadoski, 44, in 2016 when they met on set of indie movie The Last Word in which she starred with Shirley MacLaine.
In a whirlwind romance they became engaged in September 2016 and were married in March 2017.
The couple announced the birth of daughter Nina on March 24 2017.

Seyfried previously dated Mamma Mia! co-star Dominic Cooper, 42, between 2008 and 2010, and 42-year-old actor Justin Long between 2013 and 2015.
Sadoski made headlines in 2018 when he took to Instagram to defend actress Jessica Walter after she confronted her Arrested Development co-star Jeffrey Tambor, who she said verbally harassed her on the set of their Netflix show.
