Amazon Prime Video’s New Releases Coming in October 2024

Amazon originals like Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? hosted by Travis Kelce, House of Spoils and Brothers are just some of the titles hitting Prime Video in October.

Features including IF, Monkey Man, 13 Going on 30, Aquaman, Clueless, Don’t Worry Darling, Elvis, Gladiator, Goldfinger, Goosebumps, Love Actually, Mad Max (1980), No Time to Die, several Star Trek films, Think Like a Man and more will also be coming to the streamer.

Are You Smart Than a Celebrity? is a new take on the popular format of the original series Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? hosted by the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. Unlike how it sounds, this version of the show will not see adults competing against celebrities but, instead, relying on a classroom of celebrities to help them answer 11 questions pulled from elementary curriculum.

Blumhouse’s House of Spoils follows an ambitious chef portrayed by Ariana DeBose as she “opens a restaurant on a remote estate where she battles kitchen chaos, crushing self doubts … and a haunting presence who threatens to sabotage her at every turn,” according to Prime Video.

Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage star in Brothers, which tells the story of Brolin’s reformed criminal whose attempt at going straight is derailed when he’s reunited with his “sanity testing” twin brother, played by Dinklage on a cross-country road trip for the “score of a lifetime,” the logline reads.

Some other Prime Video originals this month include The Legend of Vox Machina season three; Citadel: Diana, marking the streamer’s continuation of its Citadel franchise; Killer Cakes, which will see bakers compete alongside some of the best horror special effects artists in Hollywood to create disturbing cakes; an Australian version of The Office; and more.
