Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition (Until June 12)
Electrician Simulator (Until June 10)
All these games are available for Windows PCs.
June’s highlights are found in the first batch of games: Star Wars Battlefront II, Weird West, and Genesis Noir.
Star Wars Battlefront II came out in 2017 and is primarily a multiplayer arena shooter. You can play as a goodie or a baddie, and there are dogfights in space as well as on-foot missions.
While it received a mix of good and mediocre reviews on its launch, Battlefront II is a blast to play online. There’s also a short single-player campaign for Star Wars fans who don’t love competitive online multiplayer games.
Next up is Weird West, a roughly 20-hour adventure, and a highly unusual one at that. The action is viewed from above, but the gameplay has some similarities with immersive sim games like Dishonored, where you scope out opportunities in the environment to get ahead.
It’s set in a dark fantasy version of the wild west, and was released in 2022.
Finally, and perhaps the oddest of the lot, is Genesis Noir.
It's a highly stylised, trippy puzzle game that charts the creation of the universe through a time-travelling noir-thriller love story. Sounds odd? That's exactly right.
It’s also a compact and unforgettable experience you can finish in four to five hours.
