Ambulance called after medical emergency on Center Parcs roof

A holiday maker required treatment after suffering a medical emergency on a 15m high roof at Centre Parcs at the weekend.

At just after 9.37am on Saturday, June 30, emergency services were called to the Elveden site after reports of a man having a medical episode.

A fire crew arrived at the scene to assist an ambulance in rescuing the man from the roof.

A crew from Bury St Edmunds used a turn table ladder to gain access to the roof.

The man was then transported to West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
