Yahoo News American Horror Story signs up Pose star Michaela Jaé Rodriguez
American Horror Story season 12 has signed up Michaela Jaé Rodriguez in a move that reunites her with Pose co-creator Ryan Murphy.
Confirming the news via Instagram, Rodriguez shared a screenshot of the Deadline article which broke the news along with the caption: "Guess the cat's out of the bag".
Rodriguez is set to join an already impressive cast including Kim Kardashian, Emma Roberts and Cara Delevingne.
Earlier this month, AHS creator Ryan Murphy took to his own Instagram to announce that reality TV star Kim Kardashian would be joining the anthology series alongside returnee Emma Roberts with a short promotional video which he captioned: "Emma and Kim are Delicate".

Meanwhile, model and actress Cara Delevingne was recently spotted filming in New York City alongside Emma Roberts, confirming her casting in the show. Looking almost unrecognisable in the set photos, Delevingne can be seen sporting a long brown wig and oversized red sunglasses.
While further details on who the individual stars will be playing have not yet been released, we do know that the latest series is titled Delicate.
Based on the upcoming novel Delicate Condition, by Danielle Valentine, which is described as "the feminist update to Rosemary's Baby we all needed", filming for AHS' 12th season is already underway.
Rodriguez previously worked with Murphy starring as Blanca Evangelista in the FX ballroom drama Pose. Back in 2022, Rodriguez won a Best Actress Golden Globe for her role as Blanca, making history as the first-ever transgender person to be recognised by The Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

After appearing via video link to accept her award in 2022, Murphy encouraged crowds to give Rodriguez a standing ovation during this year's awards.
"This was not just my moment, it was our moment as the queer community. Thank you, Ryan, for not only acknowledging me but acknowledging Billy Porter, Niecy Nash-Betts, Jeremy Pope [and] Matt Bomer," Rodriguez recently said of the special moment.
American Horror Story airs on FX in the US and Disney+ in the UK, where seasons 1-9 are also available to buy on Prime Video.
