American Idol Final: Caleb Johnson Vs Jena Irene! Who Won The Title?
After weeks of performances, the winner of American Idol was finally announced on last night's show and it was Caleb Johnson who won the coveted title over fellow competitor Jena Irene.
Upon hearing that he was the champion, the talented singer who wowed judges Harry Connick Jr, Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban week after week, said: "I can't believe it! This is crazy. Thank you guys so much!"
Along with performances from past American Idol finalists and array of stars including Jennifer Nettles and John Legend, the finalists and the audience were also treated to a high energy performance from judge JLo.

Rock band Kiss also played with Caleb on the special night where a medley of Love Gun and Shout It Out Loud was performed.
Despite not winning, Jena Irene couldn't have looked more happier for Caleb when American Idol host Ryan Seacrest announced that he was the show's winner.
And it may have something to do with both Caleb and Jena admitting before last night's finale that they weren't bothered about winning the title.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Caleb said: "We really don't care who wins. American Idol is just a title.
"We want to give the best possible performances both nights and make it a memorable season. We've all won. Not just us but everybody who's been on the show this season, with the experiences we've had and the knowledge we've gained about the industry and the friends that we've made.”
Jena added at the time: "No matter what place we get, whether it's first or second, I want to go out on a good note. I don't want to have a bad performance or have something I wish I would have done differently."
