Former Love Island star Amy Hart has revealed the reason why she decided to scrap the Disney-inspired name she had for her baby.

The reality TV star, who's currently expecting her first child with partner Sam Rason, recently shared that she loves Disney-themed names but has had to abandon her "top name of all time" since it doesn't fit with her partner's surname.

"I love Disney! I love the names Bambi and Belle," she told OK Magazine. "I wanted Aurora [from Sleeping Beauty].

"Unfortunately, I met a man with the last name Rason. 'Aurora Rason' is too much of a mouthful, so my top name of all time has had to go in the bin."

However, needing to axe the name Aurora didn't stop Amy from creating a Disney haven in her baby's nursery.

"We've already got a little Mickey Mouse picture in the nursery and Dumbo and 101 Dalmatians baby-grows, so the nursery will be transformed into either a boy or a girl's Disney paradise. So, I'm 100% here for the Disney names!" she said.

Amy went on to share that she and Sam are now struggling to pick a girl's name, after settling on a name for a boy.

"All the men in our family, [their] names are nice, and that's made the middle name for the boy easy," she said.

"Then the girl's middle name, because my nan's called Doreen, my granny was called Pamela, Sam's grandma was called Barbara, they don’t match the first name."

Amy isn't the only celebrity to be feeling inspired by Disney either, with fellow Love Island alumni Molly-Mae Hague and Loose Women's Stacey Solomon naming their daughters Bambi and Belle, respectively.

Molly-Mae recently opened up on her disappointment over the reactions to her child's name, revealing that she was upset to read some of the "nasty" comments left on her Instagram.

Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 and is available via catch-up on ITVX and BritBox.
