Anderson man struck by vehicle on Scatterfield Road

Apr. 17—ANDERSON — A 66-year-old Anderson man is listed in serious condition at an Indianapolis hospital after being struck by a vehicle.

Anderson police responded at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday to East Sixth Street and Scatterfield Road on a report of Robert Wilson being struck by a vehicle.

Officers found Wilson lying in the roadway suffering from critical injuries.

The Anderson Police Department Crash Team has issued a preliminary report that the vehicle was traveling north on Scatterfield Road at the time of the accident. Wilson was reportedly attempting to cross the road.

The investigation is on-going and anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Josh Bowling at 765-648-6756.
